DAILY TRANSMISSION · SEPTEMBER 5, 2026
Golf Day
SCRIPTURE · EPHESIANS 6:11
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.”
The Devotional
Some days start perfectly. The weather is right, the plan is set, and you're sure it's going to be a great day. Then little things start to go wrong. One setback leads to another, and by evening you're frustrated, short-tempered, and wondering where the good day went.
This Daily Transmission, set against a day on the golf course, looks at how easily our peace can slip away one small disappointment at a time. Most of us don't lose our joy in one big moment — we lose it gradually, without noticing.
Paul tells believers to put on the full armor of God so they can stand against the enemy's schemes. Schemes are rarely dramatic. Often they look like a string of minor frustrations designed to pull our attention off God and onto our circumstances.
The armor isn't just for crisis days. It's for ordinary days that turn sideways. A man who stays aware of what's happening in his heart — and turns back to God in the middle of the frustration — can finish the day standing, even when it didn't go the way he planned.
Key Points
- Frustration usually builds gradually, one small setback at a time.
- The enemy's schemes often look ordinary, not dramatic.
- Put on God's armor for the whole day, not just the start of it.
